The Force have won the last four straight Super Rugby matches between them and the Force regardless of the venue.

The Force and the Lions have played each other six times since the Force joined Super Rugby in 2006.

In those six matches the Lions have won just once and the teams have drawn once which means the Force have have won four out of six or 66% of their matches against the Lions.

When the Force and the Lions play each other the average score is Force 32 Lions 19.

In Perth the teams have played each other twice and the each team has won one match and lost one match so they both a 50% win record.

This match will have some added spice as Lions John Mitchell was Force coach for five years. Interestingly while at the Force Mitchell won 24 out of 65 matches and in Johannesburg the Lions have played 27 under Mitchell and won 4.

The Lions are currently on a 10 match losing streak having lost last week to the Reds who basically treated the match as a practice session.

The Force on the other hand lost by a point to the Rebels in Perth.

Another interesting stat is that both the Lions and the Force have both conceded 36 tries thus far in 2012 although the Lions have played one less match.

The Bookies have given the Lions a 6 point start for this match - with an offer of Bet 5 and Get 50 in Bets. The Bookies have gone with the Force for this one and we struggle to find a reason why the Lions can end their drought. The Force should edge it by three.

This match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on the Sky Sports 4/HD.

Average score: Force 32 Lions 19
