Western Force captain David Pocock looks set to leave Perth and join the Brumbies in a deal that could earn him up to $500,000 a season.
Pocock, who will captain Australia against Scotland this week, wants to play for a team that is capable of winning a Super Rugby title and at this stage the Force don't know who their coach will be next season.
Following head coach Richard Graham's early departure to the Reds for next season Pocock has been helping out at the Force with coaching and recruitment.
The Brumbies lost their star No.7 star Michael Hooper to the Waratahs for next season but Pocock's arrival will more than make up for the loss.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Pocock will confirm the move to Canberra within weeks.
