Stormers and Western Province flanker Nick Fenton-Wells has agreed to end his time in Super Rugby and will join English Premiership Rugby club Saracens in July.

The Stormers flanker has been enjoying more game time this season due to some significant injuries in the Stormers squad but he will now move to England after this Super Rugby season.

"We have been following Nick's progress for some time, " said Saracens Director of Rugby Mark McCall.

"He has the heart of a lion, and we are delighted he has decided to join us."

Fenton-Wells said: "Everybody in SA rugby follows what is happening at Saracens, and I'm looking forward to joining a club that continues to break new ground in so many ways. "

"I'm really excited to be joining such a special club and I'm very grateful for this opportunity."

The Stormers currently lead the South African Super Rugby Conference and are favourites to reach the play offs.

Fenton-Wells will however not be available for all of the play offs regardless of whether the Stormers qualify as he has agreed to to join Saracens in July and the Super Rugby final is in August.
