Ireland have lost centre Gordon D'Arcy and backrower Jamie Heaslip for the third Test against New Zealand's All Blacks due to injuries sustained in their 22-19 loss.

D'Arcy suffered a calf strain, Heaslip a broken finger and both have been ruled out of next Saturday's test at Hamilton. New Zealand has leads 2-0 in the three-test series.

Ireland team management said Ulster center Paddy Wallace will join the squad as a replacement for D'Arcy who is to immediately return home but no replacement for Heaslip will be sought.

Captain Brian O'Driscoll and prop Mike Ross both suffered minor facial injuries in Saturday's match at Christchurch but have been passed fit to remain with the touring team.
