0.00: Pat Lambie gets proceedings under way as he kicks off the 2012 Super Rugby final for the Sharks.

23.00: The Chiefs put in a cross kick and Nanai-Williams looks to score but he is unable to dot down before the ball bounces into touch. The Chiefs are awarded a penalty advantage, however, and Cruden will kick at goal after the Sharks were pinged at maul time.
25.00: Cruden slots the kick, extending the Chiefs' lead.
26.00: Paul Jordaan makes a strong break for the Sharks and gets the visitors within 15m of the line. The Chiefs are able to drag him downm however, and affect a turnover.
28.00: The Sharks gain momentum as they work through phases inside the Chiefs' half. They are unable to hold onto the ball, however, and the Chiefs affect a turnover and kick for touch.
30.00: The Chiefs steal another Sharks lineout and string together phases from inside their own half.
31.00: The Chiefs are penalised for obstruction just on the Sharks' 22m line. Lambie kicks for touch.
32.00: The Chiefs are penalised at ruck time inside the Sharks' half but Steve Walsh reverses the penalty after Jannie du Plessis pushes a Chiefs player. Cruden will line up a kick at goal.
33.00: Cruden bangs over the penalty.
35.00: The Chiefs build phases from inside their own half. Robbie Robinson puts in a strong run to get inside the opposition half but the Sharks affect a turnover and look to gain momentum.
36.00: Bismarck du Plessis is penalised for interfering with the scrumhalf and Cruden will line up a 50m kick at goal.

39.00: The Sharks knock the ball on at lineout time inside their own 22. The Chiefs will feed a scrum.
40.00: The Chiefs run wide and Robinson looks to break through a gap but he is scragged into touch after the hooter.

41.00: The Chiefs work their way inside the Sharks' territory and Sonny Bill Williams looks to break but loses the ball forward and the Sharks will feed a scrum near their own 22.
43.00: The Chiefs gain momentum as they work their way inside the Sharks' territory. Nanai-Williams breaks and gets over the line but Steve Walsh rules the ball was knocked on before the line. The Sharks feed another defensive scrum under immense pressure.
44.00: Michalak looks to clear from behind the posts but Craig Clarke blocks and charges the ball down.
45.00: The Chiefs feed a 5m scrum and Kane Thompson finds a gap and dots down for the Chiefs' second try.
46.00: Cruden converts the try.
49.00: The Sharks affect a steal inside the Chiefs' 22. They work through several phases as they edge closer to the line. The Chiefs' defence stands firm, however, and the visitors are unable to gain enough territory before the home side turn the ball over.
50.00: The Chiefs are penalised at the breakdown and Michalak will line up a kick at goal.
51.00: Michalak slots the kick, reducing the deficit.
52.00: The Sharks are penalised at the breakdown inside their own half. Cruden will line up a 25m kick at goal.

57.00: The Sharks are put under serious pressure inside their own territory. Jordaan loses the ball forward as he is driven back and the Chiefs will feed a 22m scrum.
